CASETiFYUltra Impact Case for iPhone 12 Pro Max-Frost Clear

I am in love with this case but also extremely disappointed. First the only negative: the case scratches way to easily for $75. I have barely taken this phone case out of the house and I am very careful with it. In less than a week I noticed a ton of scratches on the back of the phone case. Might be defective. Reason why I say that is my wife fainted and her phone dropped 5 feet directly on concrete. Her iPhone was protected and only 1 scratch on her case. For how careful I am, I am disappointed in how easily this case scratches.

I bought this case because I enjoy being able to see my actual phone rather than just the case it's in. I needed something transparent, sustainable, and protective - those are hard qualities to come back in a phone. While this case tows the line between a basic, transparent case with a durable, protective case. I drop my phone consistently and this case can endure the falls without damaging the phone and, just as importantly, the case itself. The cushions of the corners bothered me before buying, but they do not distract from the overall look of the case. The plastic is smooth and comfortable, even better knowing the case was made from recycled materials. I love the border around the cameras, gives the case some style without being too loud or eye-catching.What concerned me was I purchased the original case and not the one with MagSafe. I simply didn't want that shiny ring on the back of my phone, and I was fine with removing the case to charge my phone. But to my surprise, MagSafe does operate with this case. The magnetic attachment is much weaker, but if you were to place your phone in this case on a MagSafe charger, it charges. The Apple MagSafe Battery Pack will slip off when held vertically, but sitting in your hand or on a table it operates just fine. If MagSafe is an essential to you over style, get the ladder version of this case. I prefer this version because I rarely use MagSafe and it works just as my former cases have.Overall, I think the price is a little much of a case so simple. But that it what you have to deal with when getting a case that won't break itself or the phone. More comfortable and compatible than other brands that are far more expensive I will say. For someone on a budget, I recommend getting a cheap case and adding a strap to it that you wear on your wrist. For someone willing to invest in a great quality case that will last years, this is a great option.

The case fits great, looks nice, had lots of protection on the corners. But it prevents it from charging with a stand-up Qi charger. I have a stand that lets the phone stay up vertically or horizontally vs laying down flat. With this case on it slides off or down, in both cases it stops charging. Charging stand works fine without the case on and holds the phone very securely. So the plastic of the case prevents the magsafe from holding firmly in place :(
