#2 filters have become difficult to find in stores near me, so I started buying them online. I was surprised by the excellent per-filter cost of these Melittas. They are the thickest, strongest filters I’ve ever used, yet they cost the same or less than the bargain brand filters! A case of 600 sounds like a lot, but we go through them fast enough that I don’t mind buying them in bulk. The case is small enough that it easily fits in my cupboard.

We've tried a number of brands of filter papers. I'm not sure whether it's the material of the paper, but they seem to let the water percolate through the coffee more effectively and a bit slower. The result is better coffee. I'd always buy this brand when available.
