Ultra Sheer Mineral Sunscreen Stick SPF 50, 1.5 oz

Finding good sunscreen is a challenge and it’s not just the SPF or sun protection factor that is difficult. Oily sprays are challenging to work with and even when rubbing in many of the creams, they were only great for pool days since I’d find my clothes or flip flop straps would stain yellow. I don’t like to have to strategically and meticulously plan my sunscreen so I wanted one that fits in my daily routine. This was recommended by a dermatologist and I don’t know how I lived without it. I use it on both face and body and there is a ton of product. It lasts so long and I feel protected. Especially when driving, you don’t know how damaged your arms can get! Protect your body and your sanity, this stuff is worth it as a “put it on and forget about it.” Yay for sun protection! Must-have. Not even sure how it does it, but it also prevents excessive sweating in areas where I’ve applied it, so reapplication often isn’t necessary like the creams and sprays. A pleasant, unexpected “plus.”

Most mineral sunscreen sticks I've tried go on very dry and white. This goes on more like a clear gel. One can use fingers to rub it in if desired, but It's easy enough to get pretty thorough coverage using just the stick. This contains only Zinc, so since I prefer Titanium to be included as well, I mainly use this when it's time to reapply over the product I already have on my face. I have yet to find an affordable dual mineral product good for faces at SPF 50, so it's nice to be able to use the stick to up the SPF when I move from inside to outside.

I had never used the mineral before. I was using Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Spray. Itching in my neck with retinol. I tried mineral and I tried it well. I have not tried many other products. The whiteness does not leave so much. But I use a double-stage face wash gel in the evening or I do not think my skin will be cleaned. (I have sensitive and dry skin. I use it with moisturizer)

I really liked the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face Stick Sunscreen, so I thought I would give this a try. The face sunscreen stick is a more clear/translucent application, easy for on the go and reapplications. However this is very white and left a ghostly appearance on my face, I had to rub it in a lot in order for it to look like a white cast, rather than ghostly. It did its job even through the humidity and sweat, but I will definitely use the face stick for my face rather than this one.

Worked super well. A little small. We used in the Dominican Republic. Worked good. We didn't get sunburned and easier to apply than lotion.

false advertisement, this sunscreen is the complete opposite of “ultra sheer.” there is too much white cast and you have to rub in the product after applying or else there are streaks left behind. also it’s kinda greasy, but not more than the neutrogena sunscreen stick in yellow packaging. bonus points for not burning eyes. i’m still going to keep this product though , just not going to use it on my face.

The one sunblock I keep buying over and over and over again. I have acne prone skin, and my acne specialist recommended this to me almost 10 years ago and I haven't looked back since. I wish they would sell this in a bigger package because I keep running out of it so quickly!

My use case: A sand volleyball tournament that goes from 9am in the morning till 6pm at night in the summer Texas sun. My primary concerns: prevents sunburn, doesn't get in my eyes when sweating. I'm not overly concerned with how well this sunscreen blends in - I don't want an opaque white paste on my face, but I'm also a sweaty sandy mess, so appearance isn't my top priority. For reference, I'm white but tan easily. This sunscreen stick works well for this purpose! I can sweat profusely as you would expect, but there is no stinging in my eyes like I get with chemical sunscreens. It also has broad spectrum protection against UVA and UVB including long wave UVA. If you want a daily sunscreen to prevent aging that appears invisible, this may not be for you. But if you want a good sports sunscreen for face that won't irritate eyes, this is it!

Leaves white cast… if your fair to neutral skin color it’ll be okay, otherwise think twice. Works well!!

Me gustó, mucho de verdad proteje del sol, es muy fácil de usar y llevar, deja un poquito blanco al aplicar pero, lo difimunas un poco listo.

It leaves a white cast so you have to use your hands to spread it like using a lotion sunscreen. I have sensitive skin and it made me break out just after few days of using it.
