The case can provide a good amount of protection when dropped from normal height approx 3/4 feet if landed on the edges. The sides of the phone are quite grippy. However, it's not grippy and rubbery on the back. I was expecting a good sandstone-like grip on the back since it has a tyre like texture. If you are looking for a slim case then go for this or the thin case by Spigen. If you are very much concerned about drop protection then I would recommend the armor case. though it adds a bit of bulk; still sturdy. I got a next-day delivery in Mumbai.
