Q: Does it look and feel like wax paper? I'm trying to find extra wide wax paper and this is the closest thing I've come across. Not for cooking.

My daughter who is an esthetician uses this as a disposable sheet to cover her massage bed. It is not waxed or wax paper like. Good luck in your search.

Q: would this work for the smaller than twin size bed in the nurse's station at my church.

The Pre-cut sheet size is 70.5x30 in, so depending on the size of the bed.

You could but texture is not smooth. I'd use table paper instead.
