This straightening iron heats up reallyyyy fast! It also leaves lasting results and is hands down my favorite hair tool! I use it for straightening and even curling! Works well for both.

I love this curling iron. It heats up fast and has a strong grip on your hair. Some flat irons don’t grip your hair tight and your hair just comes right out. I highly recommend this product. It is a great value for the price.

This is an excellent flat iron that I have used regularly for over two years. Only one complaint and that is that the tip gets so hot and I regularly burn my fingers.

Good price friendly straightener! My only concern it’s initially I noticed the hot plate is longer than other straighteners so if you grip too high you’ll burn your palm. It straightens smooth and it gets HOT. It does have multiple heat settings and a clip thing (similar to tongs) that keeps the iron closed together when you store it.

I'd like to first say that I had another hair straightener that I bought in-store, a different brand than this, and it would take about 10 minutes to reach its temp and up to an hour to straighten my hair. My hair texture is Wavy 2C and incredibly thick! Buying a hair straightener online made me feel wary about its efficiency. To my surprise the Conair Double Ceramic Flat Iron heats up within seconds! Even if you need it at its highest temperature. Not only does it heat up right away, it has been able to tackle my hair without fuss! This has helped me save so much time when getting ready in the morning. The lock feature it provides has been nice for storage as well. I tend to travel and am used to just wrapping the cord around the flat iron to keep it shut, but with the lock feature, I'm able to take better care of my flat iron. Honestly, if you're feeling hesitant and in need of a hair straightener that can handle your hair, wavy or curly, this product is worth the money.

This flat iron is also described at a travel iron because of its light weight. It's definitely lightweight which makes it better for packing in a carry on, but if you plan to travel out of the United States you can't use it. I don't know whether I didn't see it in the description or it wasn't there, but you can't use this flat iron in Europe, Asia, etc. It only has 120V AC only which means I'd need a converter which may or may not work when I travel overseas. If it had dual voltage I would have kept this but didn't realize it was single voltage until after it arrived. If I never went overseas I would have kept it because it is lightweight, has 1" plates unlike most other travel irons which are minis with .5" plates, and can I adjust the heat. I can't give this 5 stars because I can't use it but gave it 3 stars because if you don't need it for international travel, it's fine and works well.

I made a mistake buying this piece of c.. please don't do the same. It worked for exactly 2 days!! TWO DAYS! After that you couldn't turn it in, it just stopped working. Never buying Conair again!!

First use was very impressive. Heats up stupid fast! Love that there are 5 temperature settings to choose from. My hair is light blonde, regularly highlighted, thicker and coarser so I started at 338 F but moved up to 374 F and the hotter it got the faster it straightened with less passes. I used 1 or 2 passes each time and it was perfection. I haven’t even used it at the highest temperature of 410 F yet so I can only imagine how much faster it will be then, will probably only need one pass. Made my hair very soft. There is no pulling. It’s also very easy to use for making beach waves. I was impressed. I used to hate using a flat iron for waves but with this one its a breeze. Good weight but not bulky or heavy. When you turn it off it doesn’t take long to cool down. And lastly, I love the white and rose gold colouring! Again, this was my first use experience so will see how it handles for the next 30 days but so far I am very happy with it and for the price it not only looks amazing, it does the job very very well. :)
