**Q: You can choose the angle (adjustable) but once chosen you can fix it in that location (not rocking)? Is that correct?**
A: It can't be fixed. It always rocks. But you get used to it.

**Q: Product dimensions say 24", description says 17.5", how wide is the platform really?**
A: 17.5 inches wide, great product

**Q: Does this move around when being rocked back and forth? Also, (want to be sure)are the supporting legs secure in place or do they collapse?**
A: My wife uses the footrest every day. It does not move around when your feet are on it. The supporting legs are built into the footrest so there are no issues with support.

**Q: How well do the rubber feet prevent sliding on bare floors?**
A: Very well no sliding at all

This foot rest arrived already assembled. It only has one set lift position to it that I'm aware of. And it comfortably keeps both my legs elevated both in my office while on my computer and also in my den while watching TV.
