It came well packaged with no issues noted. I saw a video of the craftsmanship utilized to make these boxes. They are a work of art and well worth the money. I bought it for my adult daughter, but she hasn't said anything other than "thank you for the gift." I thought it was beautiful, so the reader will need to take it from me rather than her. I thought it was the perfect mother to daughter birthday gift. Very elegant, and the cranes represent everlasting love, happiness, youth, good fortune, and longevity. These are things every parent wishes for their child. I guess I won't ever know if she liked it, which is very sad. :(

This is a beautiful product. I gave it to my daughter for her birthday and she was really blown away by the beauty of it. Just amazing. It also came shipped with additional packaging aside from the standard Amazon box and we very well protected which I appreciated.

One bird neck was not glued to one piece as a bird. It shows broken line.I ordered 2 of them one box on top a bird neck is broken but they put clear coated it's little disappointed but I will keep it because it's hard working pice of Korean art.
