A really nice roof rack - seal it.
I bought this for a 1st Gen Durango. It is a very sturdy unit with dimensions that make it look like it was designed for this truck. The powder coat is even and well applied. Here is the deal. What I am about to write applies to every roof rack manufactured by every manufacturer, not just this one. Whenever one of these is assembled it should be sealed with black silicone sealant. Everywhere pipes join should have sealant put on the male side and excess smoothed around the joint. Every place where a plastic cap seals off a tube should be coated in sealant. Every place where a screw holds pipes together should likewise be sealed. Get a tube of black 100% silicone sealant before you even start. If you do this then you won't have rust. If you don't do this and you end up with rust then it is your own fault. I know that a lot of people have trucks that they want to look like its a overland or other work truck. Real overlanders, and real work trucks, are all properly sealed. As a overlander, and a member of two emergency response teams, I have to make sure my stuff is right. Take the time and do it right - seal it. We need our stuff to work not fail at the worst possible times. All of that is just a word to the wise. That said, I love this roof rack.

Sturdy and strong but needs some work
I didn't want to drop $500+ on a brand name basket so after doing some research I settled on this one. Let me tell you though, I don't feel like I settled at all. I had read about the possibility of water rusting from the inside so I made sure to seal everything up with a silicone adhesive during the installation process. This rack is sturdy and sharp and fits my Gen 4 Outback perfectly. I have had a lot of people compliment me on it already and am excited to test its longevity. I will update if anything changes but as of now I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Good roof rack at a good price
Serves its purpose as a roof rack, adds a substantial amount of cargo space to the small truck of my Subaru Crosstrek. Makes trips to Costco much easier. Easy installation. Not a perfect fit but decent for an after market product. I love the extension, gives a bulkier look and adds carrying space. Getting ready for a cross country trip, will update review shortly.

Game Changer!!! Do it!!!
I searched and researched longer than I would like to admit and finally bit the bullet and purchased this one. I can't believe how much this has actually changed my life! No more playing Tetris on the pack out for camping! At this price point know that there is going to be a bit of work on your part.I sealed every single joining point and weld with 'Pro Seal Black RTV Silicone Instant Gasket' then I hit it with 2 cans of trunk bed liner from Harbor Freight. I've had it on since the day it arrived (3 and a half months at this point). It's been through and and every kind of rain and even snow (Upstate NY) and not a speck of rust.It fits my Gazelle T4 tent perfectly along the side and 3 Plano 64 qrt storage cases (I could probably fit one more if I wanted to). My cases aren't sure heavy so can't really speak to weight for this rack. I say be smart and don't overload it and keep your center of gravity in mind with weight distribution. This thing is solid in my opinion.Bungie net hooks sit tight on the bars and have no issues using all kinds of tie downs, from rachet straps to bungie cords.Bonus is I can strap up my diy awning to it and it's perfect! A few usb string lights and it's a vibe.In my opinion it's worth it. I would buy it again in a heartbeat! I totally recommend it

Nicely Built, Lightweight
I've had this installed on my Honda Pilot for a few weeks now. Look great! Arrived in three pieces and assembly was pretty straight forward. I had read that other brands had issues of rusting at seams and bolt locations so I assembled it putting silicone on the joints and bolt holes. Powder coating was good quality and mostly likely didn't need it but just thought I would do it just in case. Installation on the vehicle is pretty easy, the reason I only give it 4 stars is that the clamp hardware protrudes into the basket so you couldn't put large totes over the attach point areas. Didn't notice any wind noise when driving at interstate speeds or slower.
