This is one of the best purchases I've made. Easy to use, light weight, and easy to store. Heats up in exactly 2 minutes. Clean up is a breeze... just wipe with a moistened paper towel. I've only had it for a couple of weeks and use it almost daily. So far, no cooking failures. Perfectly cooks Highliner Signature and Pan Sear fish (crispy outside, flakey inside), chicken (stays moist), burgers (removes fat), sandwiches, and veggies tossed very lightly in oil 1st. I even cut a sweet potato lengthwise in 3 strips and lightly oiled, it was great. I take it outside to avoid cooking odours in the house, and bring in when cool as it's so light but that's just my personal querk. Just remove the fat tray 1st so it doesn't fall out! I would not buy for 2 people unless very small eaters or perhaps if you eat everything in smaller dimensions and thick. 100% recommend!

This one works very well. Call it "compact" if you want, yes it is a bit on the small size but for two hamburgers it is just right. If you like 'em big and thick you will have to squeeze them a bit to get them to fit at first, but remember...they shrink as they cook. I like this one because it is simple and well designed. Never mind the variable heat features and the so-called dishwasher safe, pull- apart models; they are poorly designed, loose and the sealed-in heat controls that quit working after a few uses. The only complaints I have are that the little Greece cup is a bit too small if you have juicy meats. So, remember two things (1) put some paper towel underneath to catch any juice overflow; and (2) remember to pull down the little flap underneath at the back. It that will tilt the rear end up a bit to hasten the juices to run down the grill surface and into the catch cup instead of over the side. Definitely recommend it!! Sometimes the old tried-and-true things work the best...this is one of 'em!!!!

Replacing an original 2 serving Forman PROS:- stands nicely & thinness saves space, quite like this new shape allows abit more room for food. Non stick finish seems sturdier and of improved quality. Removable drip tray fits well & catches grease accurately. Grills wipe clean with paper towel and washes easily with a sponge or dish cloth. CONS:- no plastic scraper included, no temperature control. OUTCOME:-my third 2 portion Forman in 20 years. I have no issues that the grills are a permanent installation. The lid adjusts to the thickness of the items being cooked allowing uniform cooking. It grills burgers, beef, grilled cheese sammies & is a panini press. Great for single or two portions tops...I use this grill regularly and if company drops in I switch to my big Forman with removable grills. Great products
