Bemis 500EC 062 500EC062 Toilet Seat, 1 Pack Round, Ice Grey

Beautiful grey color super easy installation fits a rounded toilet perfectly overall super happy and it doesnt feel as cheap as it is super sturdy and good quality

Excelente finish

This is a higher quality toilet seat than the original Kohler product. The color is a match, the fit is perfect and the price is fantastic.

I like the way the seat locks into place and looks like (so far), it will not wobble much as others do. Still, just in see how it goes. Main thing: DO follow the directions. A little paper in the box. Don't assume you know, different than others I have normally used. Durability is yet to be tested. So far, pleased with installation. Easy if you follow.

Perfect toilet seat match.

This toilet seat was used on a toilet that was manufactured in1998. I had given up trying match the color but one day I decided to try again and low and behold there it was on Amazon. Color matched perfectly but there was a small blemish that I'm the only one that sees. The hardware is plastic so durability could be an issue but so far no problems.

Well, this is a new one for me, I’m raving over a toilet seat! The color was just about perfect, the price was great and the construction seems solid. But what I love about it was the ease of putting it on the toilet itself. Whoever designed this really thought about what they were doing. Instead of putting the bolts through the seat, they used a cam type locking device that is attached to the seat. The bolts are inserted through the holes in the toilet separately. The plastic nut that the bolt goes through has a head that extends out so it catches the bottom of the toilet making it a easy to just screw the bolt into the nut. No reaching around the seat and trying the turn the bolt with your left hand. Once the bolts are secured into the toilet you just place your new seat place it over heads of the bolt and twist a cam (one cam over each bolt) a quarter of a turn and it’s on tight! Time it took was less than two minutes! It took more time to take the old one off… Great design!

Let’s start by saying I live in Canada, but purchased this on Amazon.com and had it shipped to my mailbox in the US. So it was order on Feb 6, and picked up by a friend from the mailbox Feb 18. It took me a few days to actually get it from my friend, just to give u a timeline. This seat was installed around feb 25 and the actual seat cracked today! So roughly only lasted 20 days!! I tried processing a return on amazon and apparently I’m outside of the return window. I’ve never had this particular brand of seat before, my previous one was from ikea and lasted 25 years. As far as I’m concerned, this brand was absolute garbage! I would never buy or recommend this product to anyone! Steer clear! Not a happy customer!

Bought for a round toilet bowl. Fits perfectly; easy to install. Last seat was a Mayfair and this one is pretty much the same. Is a very light grey that matches the porcelain. Pleased with it.

This was an easy installation, maybe all of 5 minutes. No tools needed, everything is finger tight and there is a slight ratchet that seem to tighten up the bolts very snug. The removal flip is very tight, and does require a bit of thumb pressure to lock it in place, but seems to be firmly held in place. Not sure it this is something that works loose but from the amount of pressure to lock it in place doesn't seem like that would be the case. We'll see after a few months of use. Finish is quite good, not sure how long it will last but if it manages a decade like my old one, I would be satisfied. As for it's description of round, it is slightly more oval than my toilet, and extends a bit from the front of the bowl by roughly 3/8 inch. While it doesn't look odd, it is apparent that it protrudes a bit. Also the seat is quite flat and my wife has commented that she can feel that she is sitting slightly lower than the original seat. But otherwise pretty happy with the unit.

easy installation

Nice finish. Quick disconnect keeps coming loose. Annoying.

I only purchased this “wooden” version rather than a plastic one, because it was the only one I could find in the color I wanted. I get it, wood is a natural product and each piece is different, but this one snapped in normal use, outside of the return window. Maybe poor quality control?
