A: I use these as a back up in case the car slips or rolls off the jack. They can definitely do the job, but I wouldn't use them as the primary stand if I'm underneath.

A: Half ton? That’s 1,000 pounds. What van only weighs 1,000 pounds?

Paint finish is bright and glossy. Very simple to adjust up or down. This makes using them much easier. And they feel strong and quality built. I will order two more, soon, for when I need to lift my vehicle and keep it level. Highly recommend.

I like that they are compact and will hold up my vehicle weight. They are very sturdy. If you have a larger truck they'll probably be too small, but my Pacifica and my Tucson AWD it works just fine.
