This was a godsend to me when I was pregnant as I couldn’t eat cold foods for breakfast and lunch at work . I was in construction so it was very handy to heat up my food from the car. A life saver for me .Only downs side is it takes a bit long to heat up food , takes between 30-40 minutes depending on what your heating up. Rice is always faster

My daughter gets out of school and goes directly to 4 hours of practice at the gym each weekday. So, I fill this up with a hot meal and keep it plugged in to drive to school and through the pickup line. So, once she gets in the car, she can get a full, hot meal before practice.It does get pretty hot. So, I do put a dishtowel between this and my carseat and I'm not sure if I'd leave it plugged in for a very long roadtrip- or at least keep a close eye on it.

Works as it should, but it’s on or off. It has no adjustment.Pros- it does heat your foodCons - in fact it will cook food , as in it gets hot. ( boil soup hot, rather fast)Otherwise it is built well , size is good for what I needed and for the price it’s a winner.

I expected a hot pot for travel...Something I could take with me and my husband so we didn't have to stop and spend too much money eating.This thing barely got warm. My hot water heater makes hotter water than what this makes. I gave it several hours to get hot, it barely got above lukewarm.Not a good buy.
