Buy an age 3 to 4 years older than child

Nice sweatshirt, nice quality - a little thin but still absolutelyfine. The transfer is on nicely and looks good. But...SMALL SIZING!My son is age 10, I bought age 12,having seen other reviews... but it's still too small! I believe the age 12 jumper would fit an average size 8 year old about right. So maybe I need to buy an age 15 sweatshirt for him?!
