How do you attach the microphone to a gopro?

Hi, The accessories on the Cardo unit, such as the microphone can only connect to the Cardo unit. You probably want to connect the unit to the GoPro, and for that, you will need to contact GoPro and check their availability and compatibility.

Can this connect to a sena spider 1 and still allow the sena to stay on open mesh?

You pair the Cardo Spirit with the Sena unit and use the Sena Bridge, so add the Spirit to the Sena Mesh or pair it with the BT intercom and switch between the stats of the Sena.

Wil this unit works with half helmet.

I use this with the HJC CS-2N half helmet with the ear covers, the velcro sticks right to the fabric on the inside so i didnt have to modify anything, just plug and play, works perfectly. If you dont have ear flaps i have seen add-on speaker pouches for half helmets, also you may need the Cardo half helmet kit for the freecom set to work with this unit, otherwise you wont have anywhere to mount your mic

Great product

I mostly ride alone so I didn't care too much about the rider connectivity, but I absolutely need music and this thing delivers that perfectly. It doesn't have the JBL speakers but the sound quality is excellent regardless. The app and bluetooth work well and are easy to use, battery lasts a long time, its easy to install and charge. Honestly, my first time owning something like this and I would never go back to riding without it!
