200pcs 2.54mm 1x3p Dupont Connector Housing Female for Dupont Cable and Jumper Wire

I needed a large quantity of 3-pin housings for a project. This was the best source to buy these in bulk. Otherwise, they are the same housings sold in the multi-size kits.

Had some old style airtronics servos that needed the connectors to be replaced because they were too thick to fit on a modern receiver. These worked well and very positively held the crimp on connector.

I'm not sure if its these housings, or the connectors I bought - but I am having trouble with the connectors staying in the housing.I wish I could had bought these with a set of connectors known to work together, but alas, that's not possible in the quantities I need.

These work well with existing crimped wires, but I don't have the tools to crimp my own wires. The package only comes with the plastic connectors, as advertised.

I made a pair of wires with these housings on the end. I released the single housings by lifting up the latch and sliding them out. Once oriented correctly, the connectors slid into place and locked in. Only the housing is included it the kit, not the contacts nor the wires.

I'm a novice at using these crimp pins and the crimping tool for it... very delicate in how you use it... wish the whole process was easier... the pins and cover are not the issue...
