Review: Good design, light weight, ez to hold while painting - This allows you to get right up to the wall/ceiling joint or trim work without slopping paint on unwanted surfaces. Doesn't totally eliminate the need to cut in with a brush certainly is a time saver. I prefer to run a strip of 2" painters, tape along the edge to make cleanup quicker and easier.
Review: My Life Is Complete Now - I love this thing. It's only $12. Thank you China! It's perfect for spray painting bedliner on my van, or using with other spray paint cans. It's easy to clean off once you get paint all over it. It's light weight so you can easily hold it with one hand while you spray with the other hand. If you want to get fancy you can even tape some paper onto it and then you keep paint shield pristine. I'm lazy though so I just wipe it off when I'm doing using it like the rest of humanity. You can bend it and get the edge in tight little spaces. It's get for touch ups when you don't want to spend 12 hours taping and plastic sheeting your entire van again.

**Q: Does the holder adjust angles? Or pivot?**
A: No it does not pivot in all directions equally, It will not articulate forward or backward any more than a 45 degree, It will articulate left or right up to a 90°. But for example if you're wanting to hold it on the other side of the top of a fence while you paint spray or stain the fence this tool will not work for you

**Q: What diameter pole will fit?**
A: Diameter is irrelevant. it's threaded to fit any paint/broom pole. I've used an extension paint pole and the pole for my broom.

**Q: Why use cardboard ? It seems it has a metal sheet.**
A: Cardboard is throw away. Cardboard also absorbs low viscosity paint and holds it better. Metal requires wiping off to avoid accumulation and drips and end-of-job clean up. Metal will do a much finer edge that cardboard.

**Q: Do use cardboard with the shield?**
A: Yes. Can purchase cardboard paint shields at home Depot, etc., for a buck a piece. I've even used cardboard box remnants. It holds cardboard.

Good helps prevent overspray and paint good lines. Plastic is thick and this is easy to use. Cheaper than the metal ones and has more coverage and reach, my only complaint is the price, I think this should be cheaper. Having 24 inches wide is good as other ones i saw were only 18 inches and that makes a difference.
