Globe Pendant, Matte White Glass with Brass Finish, One Light Pendant Lighting for Kitchen Island Lighting Fixture (20cm/ 8inch Lampshade)

I love this pendant and the gold on it is beautiful. The bulb was bigger than I expected (didn’t look at the size ;), but love how it looks above the sink. It was a bit tough installing it with the can light kit, but we got it!

Purchased 3 of these. Beautiful lights but giving this 2 stars because of the terrible install process. Took 2 extra trips to Lowes and we are pretty handy. But we figured out a way to make it work. "Instructions" are just a picture with very little detail... not even up to IKEA standards.First, the connector piece that holds the downrod to the base plate requires some effort to straighten out. Thought we were going to break it, but it did finally straighten.Second, the ceiling bracket that comes with these lights won't work. Do yourself a favor and pickup offset brackets (see picture) from Lowes or Home Depot prior to install.... maybe grab some extra M5 washers too. The screws that hold the bracket to the light box in the ceiling are in the same spot as the decorative bolts/nuts that hold the fixture to the bracket. Even if it did fit, you need a little offset or else the decorative bolts are too short (insert 2nd trip to Lowes here). With the offset brackets, the bolts were a hair too long, so I added an extra nut for spacing, but washers would've been better. (See picture)Third, the hole in the globe is not wide enough for a standard bulb shape. It does use the standard bulb BASE, but you'll need to pick out tubular-shaped bulbs instead.All that to say, we are really happy with them. Lots of compliments so far. Just a total pain to install. I am renovating a house and was extremely excited to have this light fixture installed. Looks-wise, this fits in with my slightly retro vibe perfectly. My electrician mounted the fixture and upon attempting to screw the globe on, found that the threading is defective. Simply put, the two pieces cannot and will not thread together. I am unable to find any recourse on the product page or customer service contact info. I would love to exchange for a non-defective product or even just request non-defective pieces, but that is not provided as an option. Instead, I am being instructed to return the product and re-purchase for a price that is much higher than what I paid on Amazon Prime Day. This is disappointing, to say the least. Not only will I have to pay to get my electrician back on site (one or maybe even two additional times), I would be charged a higher price to re-order this item AND this is affecting my construction timeline.

The globe thread doesn’t fix the rod. Can’t return and just wasted money, no way to fix it myself and no customer service. Literally was charged for a defective product.
