I literally hear the Bill and Ted air guitar lick every time I pick it up. Buy this. Buy one to carry, and one for each of your cars. It’s the best wave clone I’ve tried. It’s good. This is a leatherman killer for me. I’ve been using the leatherman wave for over 20 years and i won’t buy another one after trying this tool. The fact that after adding a tiny magnet down in the bit driver shank hole, this allows you to use standard bit driver kits instead of leathermans proprietary bs ones is a game changer. I keep a cheap kit of like 20 different drivers in a very small pouch in my backpack, which destroys the leatherman. Everything feels strong and good quality. The only downside to this over leatherman is that the edges on this tool feel a bit sharper which is less comfortable. Five minutes with a needle file to it to soften them and it helped immensely. I’m willing to spend that time for a 100$ savings. The carry case is somewhat janky and has an atrocious belt clip that feels floppy because of thin crummy plastic.

Bought one for myself and 2 more as gifts on Black Friday. It seemed the perfect handy tool for odd jobs around the home and outdoors. The build quality of mine is really excellent. Everything feels secure, the tools all locks well and move and open smoothly and easily, except for the screw bit socket which is too tight to open easily by hand. I tried WD40 but even after 500 back & forth rotations remains difficult to open. All tools are very sharp and work well. I do not feel it is flimsy in any way or overweight. My only other gripe is it doesn't come with Robertson screw bit, whick defies logic. Luckily the bit holder accepts standard bits. To keep them from falling out, I stick a tiny piece of masking tape to one of the bit's insert faces. I will update my review if the tool does or does not standup over time.
