I purchased this kit because I upgraded the engine mounted filter to aftermarket as well. You can’t buy just the water separator filter so I had to buy this kit. It’s pretty easy to install just make sure you send the connections home so you don’t get air leaks. Took me a while to figure out where I was getting air from. I didn’t tighten one of the hoses all the way. NAPA says the Cat filters are crap to use the Napa brand or another brand, which I forgot the name of.

This kit inhibits the OEM water-in-sensor functionality and reduces the fuel flow. Cannot recommend.
