Are these set up as sub devices or hosts?
How far does the Type C connector hang off the pcb?
Does this come with resistors like the Ada fruit style to receive 5v
So if im just using for a power source i would just use cc1 and grd

Nice breakout board

6 pin USBC board. Already soldered a JSTXH connector to it for part of the mod I'm working on, no issue with the device showing power on the board I tested it with (power/data only). Only need 4 of the 6 pinouts since I'm not powering anything, so I don't need the CC pins, but nice to have them if your plans involve charging a battery. It's small and lightweight so it should do the trick for a few of the other mods I had planned as well using the board. Fits normal standoff if you'reComes as a single piece, but easy to break the perforated edges apart, no damage to either connector when doing so.Will be nice when I only have to deal with one cable to rule them all instead of multiple ones.

Easy to solder, and a solid click when you plug-in the cable

Great product and makes a nice strong click when you plug in the USB-C plug. So the cable does not loosen easily. This is a very good thing because you don’t want a loose connection.Solder pads are easy to solder to. And identified.Includes two mounting holes to mount your project boxVery good construction indeed, will buy again

Used for power (not data) and worked great. 2 amps charge.

I only needed a USB-C connection to power a project but I was happy with the product. The 2 amps my circuit was created for charged and the correct amount.

Used this product to convert keyboard

I have a mechanical keyboard that has built in wires. I wanted to replace the wire with the coiled type for cable management. This product worked well. The circuit board was clearly labeled and the wiring diagram on the sellers page was a huge help.Tip, before you hot glue or fix the circuit in place, test if the keyboard works normally. It everything checks in, you can glue the unit in place. I though I had an issue it,but upon reviewing my work, there was a thin piece of hot glue “silk” blocking the connectors. I would use a different binding agent on the next project. One issue you may encounter is the placement of the circuit board after modifying the keyboard. I used hot glue to fix it in place.

Works great for a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ and eariler

I use my Raspberry Pi with the Offical 7" Touchscreen, and the built-in micro USB always gives me a low power warning (the lightning bolt). No matter what adapter I used, it always had low power. That is until I got this beauty. Right out of the box, without any modification, I got this thing to power my Pi and Touchscreen with one USB C cable. Oh, happy day.Note: The photo above is the red version, I have switched to this version as they have it in stock, and it works the same.If you want to learn how I connected it, head to my site TheGreatMojaveRover and check out article 702 in the Knowledge base.
