I think the A3 will be the perfect size even for my larger projects. I haven't used it yet but did set it up and made sure everything worked. I know alot of people complained about the stand not being sturdy, it is plastic but it does seem sturdy enough for me. I'm new to diamond painting so the accessories that came with it made this a great value for me.

This came exactly as specified. The light board is serious QUALITY!! My last board fell apart at the connection spot. So, each time I plugged it in, it literally fell out over and over again. BUT THIS ONE is Strong. BUY IT NOW without hesitation. Finally, all the extras are wonderful to have. Happy Painting my friends!!!

Loved this set and the lightboard is great! My only reason for 4-stars instead of 5 was the brackets for propping it up - I'm using it for diamond painting and there's no way these flimsy plastic brackets are going to be able to withstand the pressure of placing drills when it's tilted. Other than that - the contents are great!

I should have been more attentive to reviews. The stand is horrible! It’s plastic and small. You cannot turn your board vertically at all, and it barely holds the light board horizontally. I ended up pulling out my metal art easel that will work while I order a decent, metal, sturdy stand. Why don’t I return it? The light board is nice (so far), and I do really like and want all the accessories. (I have a Cricut too that the light and roller will come in handy for.) Obviously if I didn’t want all the accessories, I would have never bought this in the first place. (I had my eye on another similar product and price.) So now instead of feeling like I got a deal, I basically broke even because I still need to buy a decent stand. So this lost two stars for a bad stand and another star for not really being a good deal anymore. Everything else is great so far.As far as the cord, it is a little stiff to get in and out of the board so I’ll probably just leave it in to minimize messing with it. Yes it would be nice to be longer and with an outlet plug or rechargeable for no need of plug while in use, but I’m finding (as I did when I bought new cell phones/tablets too) most stuff doesn’t come with the basics that way anymore. So we just have to deal with it, dig up our old extra stuff, pay the higher price that has it, or order more on the side for those things. (Sigh)Hope this review was somewhat helpful. I’m not new to crafting (latch hook, cross stitch, metal kits, pixel hobby, cricut, etc), but kind of new to diamond art and love it! I’m in my 40’s and the older I get, the nicer it is to have things like this to keep crafting comfortably.

I love mostly everything in this kit. My only gripes are:1. The easel tends to slide when you're working. I've taken to just using the light board on the desk and placing the painting on top of it. This defeats the purpose of relieving some neck pain from constant craning.2. It is not for diamond paintings of the larger scale (this was my fault because I didn't read the description properly).Pros:1. It helps to see the diamond labels a lot better when lit up.2. You get a lot of accessories.
