First of all packaging was good, box was big and antenna wasn't damaged or bent. Bought it with Midland 75-822 40-Channel CB Radio - connector fits in just right - didn't need any adapter. Not sure how far it works, but reception improved greatly comparing with Midland handheld rubber antenna. I don't have SWR meter, so I didn't tune the antenna but range was not too bad, I got a mile for sure, maybe more. Magnet mount is pretty strong, it didn't move on highway speed with strong winds and handled few tree branches on my driveway. I routed cable through the passenger door and it was plenty of cable left, I think I could easily put it through the rear liftgate. I just bought the antenna and used it just once, so I can't say how good it is on the long run, but it looks quite strong and so far I'm happy with the purchase.

I like the clairity of the sound, range it gets me and convenience of installation... i do wish the plug was removable so i didnt have to drill such a big hole in the underside of the roof on our John deere 7700, eitherway it is resealed with a grommet and silicone. It was a 3/4” hole. Also a spring to allow extra flex would be nice but overall its a really sturdy antenna and holding up well. Also it looks cool too
