Haven’t use it yet , it’s for my students. Surprised it was bigger than what I expected. The quality is good , looks solid and sturdy.

Useful apparatus for kids to compare masses of solids and liquids.

I would buy a different scale. The buckets come apart from the chasis by design.The main issue is that the scales don't tip that much from the equal point. So there's not a whole lot of interest to gain in terms of how much heavy things tip the scale.

We had the learning resources one in the past but got rid of it. This one I purchased because my daughter’s math curriculum called for a balance. I hate when I get rid of something and we need it later but in this case I was glad because I like this scale a whole lot better than the other. It is very smooth and we have used it a few times for math already. I would buy this one again any way.

I liked this scale for small kids. The buckets come out so they can be cleaned or filled. They are clear so you can see through them. This makes it fun and exciting to compare items - are bear counters heaver than car counters. How many drops can you put in the scale to match the weight of a domino? Which apple weighs more, red, green or yellow? It was awesome fun for the kids.
