Berberine 500mg Formula HCL Complex Supplement with Silymarin for Better Absorption, Cholesterol Support, Natural Alternative

Not all Berberine is the same. I have taken three other (popular) brands in the past with no change in my blood sugar. My doctor decided that I needed a prescription to demand more insulin, however I was hesitant to start this. Instead I took some advice and changed to Blue Organix. I noticed the difference immediately. I take four capsules daily (per doctor instructions)...spread throughout the day...and my blood sugars now stay under 100, my fasting blood sugar went from avg 106 to avg 80. No prescriptions for me yet. Thank you Blue! (Also, I rarely write reviews, only when the product is truly outstanding.)

Update 4 months on Blue Organix Berberine, labs back. My A1c went down from 6.4 to 5.9 in 4 months. Granted, I eat very clean organic no sugar, no artificial sweeteners, little to no wheat products very few other grains but I have been eating like this for few years and still diabesity kept worsening. So I believe this product is what FINALLY made all my efforts work to reverse this trajectory of diabetes, metabolic syndrome. Also, recommended this to my son in law w cardio vascular problems, high cholesterol, huge family history of major health debilitation.Neither one of us will go without this supplement. Health changing!!!

I purchased this for the first time. Since taking it I saw huge difference in my digestion. I do not have any digestive issues I had great digestion before taking this supplement. But after taking it, it was just amazing. Having said that, the herbal concoction does things to our bodies that we do not have info one. I work out 6 days a week. I stretch before or after religiously. Around 29th day of taking this tablet I had a severe hamstring pull so bad that I had to go to the emergency room. I suspect this pill as I have been working out all my life never had that problem. It might have been cleansing my system and important nutrients like potassium and magnesium might have got washed out for that severe a muscle issue. I am not sure that the supplement was the cause. I am NOT a doc I just eliminated everything I consumed and this came to might. I would be tempted to try it again but I am waiting to get my blood report to see any improvement. I am sure I will buy it again. I would say buy with caution as herbs are very tricky in how they work on each system. I strongly believe each body is different and unique.

Started taking Berberine with Milk Thistle (different brand) about 3-4 months ago. I measure my blood sugar before breakfast and dinner. I noticed a slight improvement in my "fasting" morning measurement but a significant improvement in my afternoon measurement (20-30 points lower). My blood work ten weeks after I started showed my A1C had dropped by 0.8% and my LDL had dropped nearly 30 points from the previous test. No change in diet or exercise. Well, long story short the first brand was doubled in price when I went to order it 6 weeks ago, so I thought I'd look for another brand. I can tell you after using this brand for 4 weeks it just doesn't have the same affect on my blood sugar. Blood sugar levels are in the 160's (not 150's) in the morning and 140-150s (not 120-130's) in the afternoon. I took both brands with a meal (3x daily). I know Berberine w/Milk Thistle works for me and I may order another bottle of these based on the price as it did sort of help. But I guess I'll have to pay twice what I was to get the one that worked the best.

I started taking this several months ago because I was having repeated bouts of diverticulitis. I was also taking Metformin for high blood sugars, but was having bad side effects from it. A doctor suggested I try Berberine for my digestive problems and mentioned it also might also help lower my glucose levels. After I started taking the Berberine (with no side effects), I noticed an improvement in my digestive system and have had no diverticulitis since July! When I had to stop the Metformin for a couple of days because of a medical test, I felt so much better, I couldn't bring myself to start it again. That was three months ago and my recent A1C was below 6. I am not saying Berberine cured me of anything, but I know I am going to keep taking it. I take two capsules per day, morning and evening.
