Works well for the intended purpose
The lid on this fits very tightly, and so far I have not had a problem with smells or bugs. I like that I can hang this on the cabinet door and it isn't taking up counter space. I will say that my only complaint is that the hanger does not allow the container to sit low enough that I can hang this on the inside of the cabinet. It sits too high and the cabinet door won't shut. Luckily its not in the way to hang it on the outside of a cabinet, but that may not be the case for everyone.

Go for it.
This product works for me. However recentlyI found a similar product I like better from adifferent place. I recommend this item. I'm still using it.

works for the small space where i needed it
It's plastic. It has a lid. It holds trash. The top is not terribly secure - if the puppy could reach it, she could easily get inside. But it performs its basic function for an inexpensive price.

Good size for a single person
Just make sure that you use biodegradable bags...putting compostable food in a plastic bag defeats the whole purpose.

I wish there’s a lock for the lid
This is a small trash can that can hanging on the cabinet door. It’s good for small kitchen and works as designed. But the lid falls off frequently and most time you can’t catch it because you have dirty wet hands. I wish there’s a lock for the lid that can keep it stay in place.
