ATTENZIONE CON CISCO CATALYST 1300 MGP
Ne ho ordinati 18 memore di esperienze precedenti buone su modelli di switch differenti e in configurazioni meno complesse. Dovevo costruire uno stack da 10Gbit in fibra su 8 Cisco Catalyst 1300 48MGP-4x. Alla prima accensione sembrava tutto ok, ma dopo il primo reboot degli switch (senza ancora costruire lo stack) si sono cominciate a perdere le connessioni sul backbone. I moduli sembravano spenti/morti/guasti in modo assolutamente randomico. Bastava scambiarli, anche a caldo, tra un apparato e l’altro perché ricominciassero a funzionare. Assolutamente inutilizzabili. Purtroppo gli switch sono arrivati con qualche giorno di ritardo sulle previsioni e non ho potuto restituire immediatamente questi moduli. Ho contattato il produttore che ha risposto dopo un paio di giorni però poi è stato molto collaborativo. Alla fine si sono accorti che il problema è reale e mi hanno consentito il reso seppur oltre il limite dei 14gg standard. Comunque i moduli funzionano perfettamente sui modelli T/P/FP 4X perché ne ho installati e testati diversi. Spero risolvano presto il bug

Low Temp SFP+ Modules - High Quality Commercial Grade - Highly Recommend!
If you need high performance, low heat, and have a USW-AGG switch, this is for you!!! I had the H!Fiber SFP+ modules for about 3 months and they failed in my USW-AGG switch. I have had issues for the last week of my Agg switch disconnecting from the network and in turn it would disconnect my other switches and APs. It's been a nightmare. I did every update and removed all extra settings on each and every switch and port. I replaced all SFP+ modules today it's working like a champ. The biggest difference I notice is the temperatures. Prior to the replacement, my USW-AGG SFP Module Temps were about 47 degrees. Now they're hovering at about 30-39 Degrees. Fast speed and much cooler than others. Highly recommend!
