Got this for our 16 year old daughter for Christmas. We played it as a family after dinner and really enjoyed it. It was great quality, easy to set up and great fun. It took 3 of us about 3 hours to solve it.

Really great game! This is my second time playing Cryptic killers coz once you have solved one you will want to solve them all! The packs are well printed with different types of evidence plus the online content which brings an additional element to the fun. Communication is key when playing this, make sure everyone reads all pieces of evidence and take notes as you go. We got super stuck with the password for the email on this pack and had to use the hints but we figured it out in the end! 100% recommend this game, even to first time detectives

Loved it! Took 3 hours with three people, but was a lot of fun. A lot of documents to read through, but stuck with it. A good level of difficulty - we got it without any clues, but really had to think, and were close to needing a clue. Very satisfying! Would recommend!

My partner and I are new to this sort of mystery game. We took this one on holiday and found it to be a great activity and a fun way to spend an evening. The writing and production quality are good, it felt like we got something that's had care and attention put into its creation, so pretty good value for money there. A couple of the points used to eliminate suspects were a little more of a leap than I'd like which is the only minor criticism I'd throw at it, but we were able to check we weren't missing a trick on the hints website before we submitted our answer. The hints site itself does a good job of giving several hints per investigation thread, from vague pointers through to detailed instructions so will likely do a good job of keeping players on track without immediately spoiling a whole thread. This worked well for two people, I can see it also being good for solo play or up to maybe four players; any more than that and you may want to look for something a little more structured as there's no concrete division of labour with this style of game in which you simply pick up any piece of evidence and take whatever approach you see fit to connect the dots. They mark this one as 3/5 difficulty and I'd say that's about right, you can expect it to take somewhere in the 2-4 hour range to complete. This mystery isn't replayable but one thing I like about this package is that there's no destruction or modification of the materials required; they provide suspect note sheets but so long as you have pens and scrap paper for taking your own notes you can complete the entire thing without leaving a mark, meaning you can sell it on or pass it to a friend for them to enjoy. If you're curious about this style of game then I'd say it's a good one to start with, so long as you're playing in a small group, have space to spread out a bunch of evidence, and have at least one phone or computer you can use to access some internet resources which are a necessary part of the solution.

OMG THIS GAME IS FAB! THE STORY BEHIND IT IS JUST WOWZERS. I highly recommend this its so fun to play, you get so much evidence and its amazing how get to do some stuff on web aswell! Not only is it written you have data base work! Best thing ive ever done oh my god. Words cannot explain.

This was our first Cryptic Killers game. A lovely thing to do as a family over Christmas. 4 adults took 2 hours to solve. Lots of really interesting items to work through plus more clues on the internet once you’ve cracked the computer code to access it. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be buying more. If you’re careful to write your notes on paper you can pass the game on.

Good value games these! Given as a Christmas gift

Mine and Boyfriends 3rd time solving the Crypic Killers Unsolved mystery game and we just can't get enough. The storyline was clever and really kept us hooked from start to finish. The clues were challenging but made sense once you pieced them together, and it felt so satisfying solving the mystery.

Tons of fun! Great clues and actual gameplay with real websites and phone numbers. Make for a great date night idea!

We really enjoy these crime solving games and this one was high quality. First one tried from this brand and found it a little bit ambiguous compared to some others but it was very enjoyable.
