SOUND QUALITY: I use IEM's when I listen to music on my phone, they are very sensitive to distortion. This DAC has no distortion. There is no audible background hiss on this DAC, unlike the two other DAC dongles I own. In comparison, Samsung's DAC has background hiss when used with my IEM's. This DAC gets very loud with my IEM's. If I push it LOUD I can begin to hear distortion in the lower mid range to mid range, but this is pushing the hearing safe limit so its a moot point. This has excellent sound quality that rivals larger DACs like the moondrop dawn pro. COMFORT AND QUALITY: This DAC dongle feels significantly higher quality and looks better than the Samsung DAC dongle. The cable is braided and is reinforced on each terminal end to prevent fraying. Both housings are made of aluminum, it feels and looks great compared to the cheap plastic used in most DAC dongles. The tolerances of both terminals are perfect, snug but not too snug.

Okay first off these little dongle Dacs aren't my favorite because of the stress it puts on the USB-C port, I prefer one that attaches itself to the device like the Syba Dac that snaps onto any device, but with that said this is the 5th Dac I've tried and so far the second best, sound quality is good, seems like it increases the highs and mids but not the bass and trust me I'm running all Dacs to a pair of SkullCandy Crusher Evo's so bass is what I'm looking for (try Eminems Despicable Freestyle, the bass makes my eardrums bleed, lol) especially with my LG V20 ESS Quad Dac 32bit, best with bass that I've come across and cheaper than half the Dacs available (can get a refurbished V20 for $60-$75), so with that said I've tried Realtek, Technics, Qualcomm, ESS and this Conexant chips and for the price well worth it if your looking for an inexpensive Dac/headphone amp, and yes I am a music junkie who listens to music all day every day so I spend alot of time with these Dacs and that's how I rank them, I'm gonna continue trying more out along the way and see how many different chips I can come across, will update if I get any more.

Great sound quality, good build quality, especially for the price

EDIT: Works good, had port issues that I didn't know about. Nice dac👍 Build quality feels good. But the dac only works one way. And it did not work when I first plugged it in. I had to change USB settings on my S23U. Sometimes if it wiggles the wrong way it stops the music. Recently I've been getting buzzing in the left IEM(i have zero:REDs 7.5 Ohms) it's somewhat audio able in very low volumes but still. It's sadly what I kind of expected at this price point. A lot of people and reviews were hyping this up as a really good entry level portable dac but it's fine I guess. One thing is people said it would get hot, it's been ice cold for me so I don't have any overheating issues. It has 0 issues getting loud but no heat

Durability: Its not durable at all and very flimsy feeling. AUX plug side is made of metal but the USB-C is made of plastic but, the cable itself is the issue. It bends easily causing it to wear out quicker like this did in a month of repeated use. Only 4 days after the return period expired it stopped producing sound out of the right IEM. Connectivity: When they worked it had great audio quality. While watching youtube sometimes it would make my phone freak out and would start changing my volume and skipping videos so quickly it made you think you were using an auto clicker. It would only happen when I changed the orientation of my phone or whenever the cable was adjusted. I just had my phone replaced in February with a S25+ so it shouldn’t be an issue with the phone. I'm disappointed it only lasted this long. (I’ll try and update the review if I get a video of my phone freaking out).

Compared to the Apple USB-C dongle, this one has more clarity (mids and highs are more forward) and with slightly more extended bass. It just sounds more full overall compared to Apple. It can drive my DT770 and Drop 6XX without an amp, but you need to crank the volume up past 70%. It sounds best with a headphone amp (I alternate between both a Topping NX2 and JDS Labs Atom+). Build quality looks good (time will tell). No background hiss. Definitely worth the money. Update: I've re-purposed this as the USB DAC to my Raspberry Pi4 and it works flawlessly (Linux recognizes it as "TTGK Technology". This is a must-have sound upgrade to the Raspberry Pi.

Broke

This is a fair value item. It delivers on performance. While it looks to be made well, I was disappointed that after just one year (almost to the day), it no longer works. The internal wires have come loose, so sound only plays out of the right speaker unless held at a very particular angle with a specific pressure. I'm even more disappointed because of how little stress the connector had been through. It stayed in one location for its lifetime and got used probably ~4 times a week. TL;DR: sounds good but broke after 1 year.

Me gusta que casi no se calienta inclusive después de un uso moderado si lo comparo con un dac de mayor precio, arroja un buen sonido , bastante aceptable para ser un dac de entrada, la APK de UAPP lo reconoce inmediatamente y entrega un sonido mejor que el que da la entrada normal del celular.

otimo produto, aumenta e melhora muito a qualidade do som, eu uso tanto no celular como no Note e nos dois ficou fantastico o quanto melhora o som

Really incredible sound quality for the money and far better than the built in DAC on any of my devices. I have a dragonfly black ($170) [currently misplaced somehwere in the house.. hence ths order] and an AudioEngine D1 ($229). and besides the considerably higher headphone amp voltage output... there really isn't a dramatic different in sound quality.. none that my peasant untrained ears can pick up at least haha. $20 well spent! P.S. Headphones are Bowers Wilkins P7s (around 10 years old and still kicking ass)

Lo recomiendo 100% Es el mejor DAC que existe en este rango de precios, incluso supera a algunos que cuestan el triple.

Muito boa a qualidade do som. Mais do que suficientes para overheads como shp-9500.
