nice box but...
like the box...smooth wood finish with nice grain for a rustic look. linen liners good quality and roomy.hardware...i like the simple spring loaded latch but, the hinges should be improved. very small screws and when lid is opened could be a stress point over time. you can see the hinge slightly pull away from the surface. there are much better combo hinges available and used on several other boxes at the same pricepoint. overall, nice watch box but be careful over lifting the lid. dw

Good value overall, but for the pillows
For the money, this is a very nice (and giftable) watch box. The finish was nice, too, with no peeling felt or splintering wood — they got the details right.The compartments in the one I received were not removable; they are placed there to stay. And I don’t think the pillows were covered in real velvet, as the description indicates — they seemed to be made of cardboard and stuffing wrapped in the same kind of soft synthetic fabric common to boxes at this price point.But overall, a decent box that comfortably holds 12 watches, including the large, modern 45mm ones.

I have 72 watches. I bought 4 of these (the rest are automatic watches in a larger wonder box). This is the same color as the winder, our bedroom, good quality, and are a perfect storage, organization and display box for my collection and fits perfectly where I keep my collection and personal accoutrements (wallet, keys and other final needs when getting ready in the morning)…I love it.

Very good quality & overall excellent value.
I have since replaced this watch box, but only because my collection has outgrown it. The quality is very good for this price-point and I have no major complaints.The only reason that I gave this 4-stars (rather than 5) is due to the original description speaking to a felt interior material. The watch pillows are not felt, but rather appear to be a canvas (think potato sack) material that is slightly more abrasive than felt.

Beautiful
Was skeptical on how this was actually made. I was completely happy I did purchase this one. I picked the wood looking one and it was some beautiful and well made. When it comes time to get another one for my husband's growing collection, I will definitely come back and get this one again. Thank you for the beautiful and well made watch box.
