Perfect Book For New Readers
I bought a bunch of these books for my nephew's sixth birthday. He loves them! He loves it more when I read them with him because we watched the show together so I can pronounce the names correctly. The stories are more or less based on the series and are super fun to read! He's learning his sight words and gets so excited when he picks them out!

Take the educational opportunity...
Ninjago, ninjago, ninjago... That seems to be all I hear about from my 6 year old grandson these days. The world stops when a new Ninjago show is on TV, and he watches those same shows over and over again. Of course, we have to have the Ninjago minifigures and the Ninjago Lego sets. I'm waiting for the Lego Ninjago video game to come out, of course! So how do you turn an all-encompassing passion into something at least slightly educational? A book! I was so happy when I saw these early readers!I purchased Book #1 and #2 for my grandson's birthday (the big 6), and at first, he wasn't too enthused. But when it came to bedtime and I pulled out the new books, and we cuddled and read together - he was much more excited. And I can already see him sitting down by himself to read through the books on his own.The books are geared towards first through third grade readers, I believe, and the story line runs hand in hand with the TV shows of the same name. My grandson is in Kindergarten, so some words are out of his reach, but because he is such a Ninjago fan, he worked at figuring out and sounding out the words he didn't know. Success! If you have a little Ninjago fan in your house, don't hesitate with these books. It's nice to slide in an educational opportunity without the child fully realizing that's what you're doing... and you might just create a love of reading that he will have for his entire life. Here's hoping!

helps my stubborn son want to read!
Although this is a bit above his level, having gone through each page first with me, he now basically has this book memorized, and it has really jump started his reading. He is in first grade, but a little weak according to his teacher. I thought he had been doing great with reading until my first teacher conference, which is when I decided to find books that HE was interested in. He loves Ninjago, so there you go!

My 4 yr old loves!
My 4 year old son loves these books. Lines per page is only a few, three or four a most, so his attention isn't lost. Great for young Ninjago readers and pre-readers. He loves to retell the story on his own from the pictures!

Very wordy, action packed
My kids love these books. I think they are very very wordy and maybe for a 4/5th grade level. They follow the story just fine. The nonsense words/names are a challenge to sound out for early readers. But again, they love the photos and storylines. I’m sure it won’t be our last purchase from this book series. We own 3 of them as of now.

Got as a gift
Ordered this as a gift for my 7 year old nephew, who loves Ninjago and is just starting to read short chapter books. I wasn't there to see him open it but I expect he will enjoy it. The reading seems to be right at his level, not too long, not too many words on a page, and lots of pictures. Arrived quickly also.

My 7-year old grandson wanted these books for his birthday!
My 7 year old grandson wanted some of the Lego Ninjago reading books for his birthday. He loves reading! They are just the right length to keep him entertained and not to get so overwhelmed with so many more pages to read like bigger books are. I am sure he will want the whole series eventually.

Reading Time
I encourage my kids to read, we are often at the library. However, my 9 year old son is only interested in cartoon type books and loves Legos. When I saw the Ninjago series online I said I have to get it...now he takes them everywhere. Well worth the money!!!

Good book but flimsy pages
Good book, but the pages are made of extremely thin paper and rip easily. Very flimsy.

If your child is ninjago mad like mine then they are worth getting
When I found my 7 year old up early one morning reading this, I new it was a winner. This series are the first books he has actually wanted to read for pleasure rather than because he has too. If your child is ninjago mad like mine then they are worth getting. (American spellings are a small price to pay).
