Works for (small) adults, too!
I'm 5'5" and towards the slender end of the spectrum, and this backpack works great as a purse for me! Other taller or heavier friends have found it OK for shorter periods but not good for extended wear due to the length of the straps. If you're an adult who wants to use this for a costume/as a purse/to carry around a few things, just be warned that if you aren't short with narrow shoulders you may need to sew on more strap for this to be comfortable fit.Very cute, seems well-made, exactly as pictured except that the rocket flames on mine tend to stay folded up towards the outside of the bag.

Super cute but quite small
My son loves space and the color red so he was super excited to pick out this backpack for kindergarten! It is SUPER cute and very well made! Inside there is a cute window for your child's little stuffed animal to peek out. The other side also has a little pocket and when it unzips it almost opens all the way up for easy use. The only downside is that it is quite small, comparable to a toddler size backpack. So unfortunately his lunch box and his school folder are both too big to fit in the backpack.

Cute but small
My 4 year old loves this backpack! We got it for him before we went to NASA. The only down side is that it's not big enough to carry a binder or a folder. I did read the description beforehand and knew they wouldn't fit. He still loved it!

My four year old loves this
As soon as I took it out of the box my son was filling it with stuffed animals to carry around. It's the perfect size for him to wear comfortably and fits everything he would need for preschool or a trip. Every part of the backpack, including the straps and zipper, feels high quality and durable.
