Worked intermittantly for 10 weeks, then failed totally
Dear manufacturer- Do not bother to tell me the power requirements!! I used your supplied power supply at all times! The issue: Even though the Bluetooth paired (most of the time), the bi-color LED indicator kept indicating no pairing. I ignored this nuisance because it was usually connecting. Total failure after functioning satisfactorily (albeit intermittently) for several months. My application case has been only the Bluetooth-to-analog RCA connector audio out (the 192bit conversion, toslink, etc, was not a factor in my use case). 3 stars for the first few weeks, zero stars of course after the failure.

DOA
I go to use this device and it will not pair with Bluetooth. I have different but similar it works fine. I have sent 2 emails to customer service. No reply. I thought it would be a great device, but it is DOA and the company is not there to back their product.

It’s not power enough, low volume transferred to a receiver or audio system
Even with my home audio system at max volume and this device at max volume, my TV didn’t play loud enough. The TV speaker plays louder, and my audio system with a phone connected same way it plays way louder. And I prove a different device and I proved that the problem was this eSync, but now it too late to return it, so one star because it was a money waste

Bluetooth pairing won't work.
I would say the item works as described, but unfortunately the Bluetooth function doesn't work. Audio from it says it's ready to pair, but the device doesn't show up when I search for it on my phone and tablet. The converter works otherwise, through the optical input and output. I specifically bought it for it's Bluetooth input capabilities and unfortunately that is defective. And will return it.

Do not buy the BT version
This device worked great for a few weeks. The sound was pretty good. Was running optical audio cable from TV through device, then into stereo receiver. Now it is only going to bluetooth, so it is unusable. I cannot find any BT device in my home to unpair; nothing is paired to it. According to the manual BT overrides and there is no way to turn BT off. Of course, my return window closed 6 days ago.
