So glad to get magnesium that doesn't have a bunch of other weird ingredients. Its just the straight stuff. It REALLY loves water though, and will suck it out of the air and turn into a wet mess, or harden up, over a long period of time. Keep sealed for sure, and don't allow exposure to air as much as possible to prevent this. I also dried mine in the oven on low heat. But its just a little difficult to handle. Homemade capsules turn into sludge, even when mixed with Calcium. Seems to stay dry best when ways are found to keep it from being exposed to air for more than a short time. Still experimenting on ways to do this. Kept a small amount of it mixed with Calcium in a small jar with a plastic bag under the lid to help seal out moisture, but its getting low and soaking it up- decided to try keeping cotton balls in the top wrapped in plastic to keep more air out to see if that fixes the problem. Then I take 1/8- 1/4 tsp of mixed Calcium magnesium on a spoon full of maple syrup and chase with juice. It tastes strong and bad. Still working on ways of taking it that don't taste so bad. Maybe I can mix it with juice and it will just taste like powerade or an energy drink or something- with just a weird extra flavor. I think some people add water and turn it into a spray for the skin. I might try this too.

Magnesium is an important mineral in your body for many reasons. I take it to help support my potassium levels. Without the magnesium the potassium just gets dumped out through the urine. So by adding both magnesium and potassium I have lowered my blood pressure to normal without medication. I use 2 pinches of magnesium chloride and 2 pinches of potassium chloride in a half glass of water every day to keep my blood pressure in check. I told a buddy about it and now his BP is normal and he is of the meds. Somehow these two items counteract the effects of sodium chloride (salt) on high BP bringing the electrolytes into balance. I'm glad I found this product.
