I have bought quite a few candle carousels, and this is the first one that had the spinners connected to the hook. So much nicer to just connect the elephants to the wheel, instead, of the hook to the both the wheel and the spinning thing. Makes it easier to put together, and easier to clean, and I’m not searching for hooks when I drop one. Cleans up nice in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, too. I use the carousel with a longer post and plate, so I can use bigger candles, and they can get sooty.

I bought this to show my students convection currents- a tea light wasn’t enough so I used a smaller candle. But it is so light it is easily effected by a shift in air currents-Like someone walking by or the AC switching on. Very pretty and overall worth the price

I suspect this was a returned item as 1 of the hanging deer was in a separate bag in a different part of the box than the other 3 hanging deer. It would also explain why there's a hanging deer missing. The missing deer causes a weight imbalance in the fins which causes the spinning top to be significantly off balance.

Reminds me of being at grandma's house when I was young. Beautiful, simple, love it.

Was working great the first time using it but since then it stops after a half an hour. Kind of pointless if it won’t turn, otherwise it’s just an overpriced tea light holder.
