What does this mean? "design: valve is not a cartridge based design; 0-20 psi"? is it designed to operate between 0-20 psi?

Hello,

The above statement means that the Cash Acme EB-75 (part # 20658-0005) does not have a replaceable internal cartridge and will need to be replaced, rather than serviced, if the valve ever stops working in the future.  Cartridge based valves cay typically be serviced without removing the valve from the pipes by replacing the internal cartridge.  The valve is factory set to 5 psi but has an adjustable range between 1-20 psi. How do u tell what the PSI is without a gauge?

Hello,

It will be necessary to have a pressure gauge installed downstream of the valve in order to check the pressure.  If you do not already have a pressure gauge installed you can look for a model with garden hose threads on it.  A pressure gauge with garden hose threads may be attached to an outside hose bibb. Will this device add water pressure to my Sprinkler system?

It can't add pressure, only reduce and regulate.  If you need more pressure you'd have to have a pump.
I used this on drip systems which only want about 10 PSI, and it kept them from blowing connections on startup since I have 100 PSI water line pressure instead of the usual 40 PSI.   I installed my regulator ahead of the valves, so they never saw that 100 PSI, and also needed only one regulator for the valve group.

Your listing shows this as bronze, included paper says iron body, and both top and bottom are magnetic. How is this bronze?
