Excellent tensioner for small ropes below 5mm (3/16 inch) diameters
I am using these with 3/16" diameter paracord and they work really well to hold the cord in place. Tightening the cord takes a bit of practice, but once figured out, the process works well. I am currently using these to hold furniture in place on our outdoor porch to handle the high winds we have been getting. These will be particularly useful for camping, and holding things in place in the back of my truck. But any application where a quick release of a cord is advantageous will find these most useful. But one warning is to be noted- you need to tighten these by pulling on the cables while pressing on the clamp fingers as without this process, the cables are not held as tightly as desired in most applications.
