INNOVA 5210 Pro Code Reader Tool - OBD2 Car Diagnostic Scanner – Live Data

My sister-in-law drove from New York to visit. As she arrived in the area her Check Engine Light came on. We took her car to Advance Auto to get a free diagnostic scan. This is the same scanner that they used. After seeing the malfunction code, I inspected her fuel tank cap and determined it wasn't sealing properly when closed. I installed a new cap, but the Check Engine light remained on. The onboard computer may have cleared the light after she drove far enough to let the computer figure out the issue was resolved, but that could take about 50 miles of mixed driving. So, I ordered this scanner, which also lets you reset warning lights. An auto store may decline to clear warning lights for liability purposes. I chose this brand based on the fact that this is what they were using at Advance Auto and on the price. I reset the Check Engine light with the scanner. My sister-in-law drove another 6 hours to visit other relatives, and she let me know that the Check Engine light never came back on. Thanks to this scanner, we got an easy diagnosis, easy fix, and easy resolution! I've always wanted a diagnostic scanner; the price was reasonable and it's easy to operate.
