A must have if you have dogs and puppies
If you find yourself mopping up after a puppy or old dog, this is a must have mop. Use this with something like lysol or odorban liquids, as the final in a clean up. Once you put these liquids on the mop, and mop over the puddle, your floor will be dry by the time you rinse this mop in your laundry sink, and walk back to the nearly dry floor. Works as well on a dirty floor, gets more dirt up, than other mops.

Long lasting and most durable
As a pet owner (3 adopted cats one American Eskimo) and living in a small NYC apartment, I am overwhelmed with cleaning and moping. Because I am a senior woman with arthritis, I do not get up during winter to walk my dog. We use absorbent pads. However. my dog's urine seeps out of it. I am constantly moping hair and urine from my floors. All the other sponge mops I've purchased before (and there have been many, all different brands) have come apart within a few months. But I must proudly say that this, Super Standard Double Roller mop has beat them all. I bought this sponge mop a year and a half ago and it is fabulous, everlasting, and gets the job done easily! I mop my floors many times daily, I am still using the same sponge a year and a half later! I use Lysol concentrate disinfectant bought through Amazon and my floors are always spotless. Moreover, It's very easy to use for my arthritic hands. It's so good, I am getting one for my elderly mom (mid 80's)! She has three dogs and two cats! All adopted, of course.Thank you Amazon; out of all the previous upright sponge mops I've bought before, this is your best so far!

excellent mop but needs stainless steel screws
I've had this mop for a year now and it does a great job cleaning our hardwood and tile floors. However, for a $30 mop, this product needs to be made with stainless steel screws! They completely rusted and the sponge fell apart! To avoid streaking, mop up as much of the water on the floor as possible, then use 2 cotton hand towels - 1 for each hand or stand up and put 1 under each foot and dry the floor. 2 towels makes the drying go so much faster. Or use a dry hardwood floor mop like the O-Cedar hardwood floor mop. I clean our kitchen floors every other week with this mop and a bucket of hot water with a little OxiClean powder laundry detergent and a little bit of Clorox bleach (for our hardwood floors I use a little distilled vinegar instead of bleach). Our kitchen tile floors are over 15 years old and it does a great job keeping the floors clean which is impressive considering the fact that we have 3 kids running around our house. We do have Waterhog floor mats on the inside floor of our exterior doors to minimize dirt and junk and we do take our shoes off and leave them on the floor mat. This is a good floor mop but it needs a little modification.

Best mop ever!
I've gone through 4 mops and this is hands down the best. Didn't really want to spend that much for a mop but it is SO worth it. Also I don't usually write reviews, that's how much I like it :)

Not for every day messes
This is a good sturdy mop, but it has some major limitations. First, it's heavy when wet, and it has to be soaked or run under the faucet to use. The mop head is very hard and unusable until wet. If you want to do a quick job like mopping up around the dog's water bowl it's almost too much trouble to use, especially if you're used to whipping out your Quickie sponge mop. You have to soak it before soaking up what you originally wanted to soak up. The handle telescopes and seems to work well. The mop doesn't glide smoothly along the floor, it kind of skips along on the push stroke and glides nicely on the pull stroke. It does a good job on pet hair, which clings to the mop head. It doesn't wring out very well. You have to pull the handle multiple times to get it dry enough to use, and when you're done it takes a long time to dry, so it goes back in the closet wet unless you want to look at it for a day or two until it dries. This mop is best suited for when you want to do heavy cleaning or large areas, not for cleaning up every day minor messes. I bought this to replace my 15 year old sponge mop that finally died, and I'm finding I miss that old thing and will probably buy another one. Now I'll have two mops to store. Not the worst thing in the world, but if I was forced to give up one, it would be this one.

Excellent Product!
Absolutely the best mop out there! Love how fast the floors dry. But the best thing I love is the telescope handle!
