This little ball is absolutely magical! It's just saved me a physio visit in literally minutes.
I've been suffering with a back pain for weeks now that I've been putting off in the hopes it would release. Literally weeks and possibly even months now.I'm 45 and sit at a computer all day and like a lot of people and susceptible to slouching which does cause all sorts of pains, especially as you get older. The wife tried to rub it (only my back unfortunately) and she was finding knots galore but other than agonising pain they just wouldn't release. She's only rubbed it a few times since we got married - again I'm talking about my back of course and our local physio is always busy lately. The worst one has been a pain like I needed a chest compression doing and it's been getting that bad at times it was getting difficult to breathe.I received this from Amazon and first impressions were that it was smaller than I was expecting - it's around 6.3cm in diameter which meets the NCAA standards and it's quite weighty. I'm never going to use it for Lacrosse but as I'm a bigger guy (over 6 foot) I figured there was a very good chance I'd pop a tennis ball trying to get the pressure I needed. This is pure hard rubber - I'd certainly think it thrown at a window or glass there's a chance it could do some damage so keep it away from younger children who'll think it's a toy.You get the ball and some basic instructions in a sealed bag.I read the instructions first to see what to expect - that upper leg exercise at the top right looks a bit suspect though and think some people could do some damage trying that!I went up to a closed door, placed the ball roughly where the pain was coming from, and started rubbing my back against the ball pushing my weight towards the door. Within literally less than two minutes there was a very satisfying crunch where whatever was stuck finally released - this thing really was magical for me. Since that finally released I think it's crunched several times now as it's freeing itself up. Incredible.I do also suffer from a tight IT band in my left leg (probably not helped by many severe knee injuries over the years) so will be using this for that to see if it helps. This will definitely work better with the ball on hard surface / flooring than on carpet though so something to bear in mind. For the price and the near instant relief this is the best thing I've bought in ages. It's simple - but very, very effective when used right.

Osteopath recommended.
Absolutely brilliant bit of kit. Lacrosse ball is really good after training to relax the muscles as well as my knotted shoulder, it gets right in and eases the knot when used regularly. Colour is bright so I can find it easily in my sports bag or rucksack. It's perfect size equal to a tennis ball I'd say but more effective due to the durability and weight yet not that heavy.I'm currently training to walk across the world Canterbury England to Canterbury New Zealand and Africa so I'll definitely be taking it with me.Thank you 🌍💚

Works great as a massage ball
Use it to get knots out of my back by rolling on it and works just fine

Has really helped
I bought this after I started getting very painful calf cramps. My personal trainer recommended this to help with the cramps and showed me a few exercises to try but the packaging does come with a sheet of helpful exercises to try. This ball is painful to use (but it's meant to be!) But has been an absolute life saver. The trick is to use it daily for a few minutes at a time to notice it working. I found relief pretty quickly and after a couple of days I noticed I was cramping less often

Great level of firmness
Tricky to manipulate across the shoulder blades but it is firm. Tendency to pick up every fibre in the carpet if used for the balls of the feet, but washes easily.

Too soft for Bat and Trap
Good quality but no good for Bat and Trap, too bouncy need to be harder for Bat and Trap.
