Great Value — Works Just Like the OEM Part
I was a little nervous about this one since it’s so much cheaper than the OEM part, but it’s been working great in my Speed Queen. I’ve had it installed for over a month now with zero issues.Even if it ever goes out, I’m not worried—I could buy three of these for the price of one OEM replacement. Definitely a great value and a solid alternative!

Part fits my dryer
I am glad I was able to get this item, that can be installed when needed (in the future). This time, it was not the problem that needed replacement.I believe this item is of quality manufacturing, and properly fits my Dryer.

DO NOT BUY!!!
I have purchased this element twice. The first one didn’t last 4 months. I purchased a second one and it only lasted 3 months. Both had broken coils and one almost burned. See pictures. Seller claims 1 year warranty but I cannot find a way to contact him. Do not buy!

The dryer dries.
Works. Don't be like Steve and go after the dryer with a screw gun after the element and go in from the top with the tub and belt and EVERYTHING in a pile of parts in the hallway. It can be accessed through the panel under the door if you have long arms.

Works Properly - But Clean the Dryer Vent Tubing Before Using
I think the Speed Queen Dryer design could be improved for better filtering BEFORE the incoming air reaches the heater, but that's a separate issue. The OEM element lasted about 5-6 years before burning out due to large amounts of lint inside the body. Dryer cleaned thoroughly, and new element installed. The first replacement (ordered here) burnt out just three months later, again due to lint inside the body reaching the element. Investigation revealed that the first 6-8 feet of the exhaust tubing was stuffed full of years' worth of lint (we've lived here only 2). I'd advise that before installing this part and running the dryer, clean the dryer. Then get a good brush (about $20-25.00 at a chain hardware store) and really clean out the entire vent length, use your shop vac and don't leave anything behind. I suspect that my lint problem will disappear, and the second replacement will last much longer. Learn from me, don't be me....
