PA Really Nailed it With This Optic & It’s a Great Solution for People with Ageing Eyesight
I’ve always loved my Aimpoint Micros and other collimator type of optics, but at this point, worsening astigmatism has made them nigh impractical for me. Luckily, I found that this optic is a very viable replacement. The low magnification, combined with the excellent daylight-bright reticle, generous eye box/relief and a very wide FOV, allow me to engage CQB targets almost as fast as I was doing with my red dots and holos, while the magnification also makes precision hits on medium and long-range targets easier.Despite having lower magnification, the clarity of this glass lets me make out fine details better than I can do with my cheaper 3X prisms. The adjustable diopter offers a tangible advantage over even the much more expensive optics like ACOGs. In addition, this optic is built sturdy (though no ACOG-sturdy), looks pretty sexy and doesn’t add too much weight to your rifle. The battery life is the best in its class, combined with a “Shake Awake” feature. Also, the etched reticle makes this optic usable even without a power source, offering a good choice for “preppers” concerned about things like battery availability and EMP.As always, PA shipping was quick and everything was well-packaged, with a bunch of free stickers and such. The included mount seems pretty good, is removable and the package includes all kinds of different risers. I’ve always used QD mounts for collimating and low mag optics and thus, paired this scope with an American Defense ACOG Micro QD Mount. I had no problem removing the factory mount and installing the AD with an appropriate riser. This optic required very few adjustments when I was laser bore sighting it in my garage. The adjustment knobs are solid, with very positive clicks. Taking this scope out to the range on top of my new BCM upper, it took me less than half a box of 77 gr OTMs to get it to the point of shooting rounds through the same hole on a bullseye of a 50-yard paper target. I don’t think that I have ever zeroed a scope this quickly!Anyhow, the only “negative” I can say is that buying this optics is ending up costing me quite a bit of money, because I now need more of them for my other rifles. Luckily, you can get three of these for the price of a single ACOG 1.5X!Good job, PA!

Really impressive
First time buying a Primary Arms optic after years of getting Holosun, Vortex, Trijicon and Aimpoint etc. The glx glass is phenomenally clear and the reticle is sharp and bright. Also the current shipments have 5 types of screws and 3 height mounts. Everything seems rugged and well though out. This won’t be the last PA optic I buy.

Great scope
I was hesitant to buying a scope online but found it was saving me a little money and time since my local shop didn’t have it in stock. I love the etched glass and different illumination levels are great and if I forget to turn it off there’s an auto turn off feature after 30 mins. Hold zero really well after some initial adjusting had a tight grouping in no time.

Such an incredible optic
Don’t let the china sticker fool you. The glass is far superior to what is in the SLX prism. The optic doesn’t slow you down and allows for two eyes open shooting.

Simple, Easy, and Clear
Once you sight this in at 50yrds with 5.56... this optic is just so easy to use with this reticle. Eye relief is very forgiving if you aren't close enough, probably 4in of eye relief. You also get 3 different height mounts and screws for other mounts you might have.

Nice Prism scope
I bought mine after I got to try out my son's. It has enough eye relief that I still have peripheral vision. I have an astigmatism. This prism scope resolves my issues for an AR optic.

Daylight bright, QC missed mine
Couldn’t remove the mount screw. I’m not new to this, and sacrificed two tools to the screw. Either the grizzly bear that installed this or the threadlocker beat me. The provided wrench was a sloppy fit and stripped immediately, although it was under very high torque when it did so. This may have rounded the screw enough to make my personal tools less effective. I’ll never know, much like I’ll never know how this shoots. Bummer. Great glass and VERY bright. Can’t imagine how people aren’t satisfied with brightness.Hopefully QC doesn’t miss yours. I’m convinced that this is very likely a great tool, mine just sucked. Oh well.ETA: before returning I broke down and tried one more high quality wrench. Ruined one more, high quality, wrench.
