Atlantic Windshield Repair Kit for 1-3 Chips, Fix All Most of Chips, Cracks, Bull Eyes

The three stars in my jeep windshield, although still visible, appear improved and have not spread anymore. My husband had previous experience with this type of product and had no problems. Unfortunately two days after the repair a truck tossed a rock and made a much larger ding. I am ordering another kit to see if this glass can be saved.

The bottle of repair fluid had leaked during shipping. When I went to repair the first of two chips, there was only a few drops in the bottle (the cap wasn't threaded properly?). I gave it two stars because everything else seemed serviceable. I attempted a repair on one chip with what I had. I can't tell if there is any difference.Update: Seller sent me a new package. I repaired the chip, I think. The spider web didn't go away, but the surface of the chip is now smooth. Time will tell.

Although the filler might prevent the chip from spreading, it didn't look much better when done: could still see most of the chip.

I just received my kit, and it is so much better than it's "name brand" competitor. I like this kit because it has everything you need to do a repair, even if it's not sunny, which is when most of problems get out of control. I will have to get some more repair resin and refill this kit, because I will surely be using it again. Make sure if you have never done repairs before, that you look at a quick video, it's not difficult, but if you do it wrong, it can get messy.

Let me start with the positives:1. Price - very affordable2. Clear instructions on how to use the product3. The kit comes with everything required to perform the procedure. They don't assume that customers would have a certain item.Now the negatives:It doesn't work. At all. I spent almost an hour and did every step as instructed. In the end when the final layer of resin needs to be cleaned out, the cured resin that was supposed to be inside the chip also came out. It was very disappointing. Check out the before and after photos. Bonus points for guessing which one's before and which ones after.

Worked exactly as advertised. Had enough for 3-4 repairs. Everything needed is included including a razor blade to clean the windshield. Highly recommended as it does not require significant auto skills to use this kit and save some money. If you can follow basic directions which are included with pictures then you can repair small window cracks.

Best DIY Windshield repair kit I have ever used. I is also the most complete and includes a UV source that works much faster than the Sun.Being able to repair 3 chips makes this kit an Excellent Value. I plan to order another just to have it handy for my next windshield hit.
