As other reviewers mentioned, these are most likely not IP65 water resistant. I sealed everything with some silicone sealant during re-assembly but I won't trust it to be in the outdoors exposed to rain on a long term basis or use in proximity to water such as a swimming pool. The sealing is just in case it rains while outside it will buy me a few minutes to disconnect and store the equipment.This is also not for heavy gauge wire. However, given that the switches are rated for 3A, heavy gauge wire wouldn't be needed. I used 16-3AWG SJWT outdoor extension type cable and this barley fit through the strain relief at the housing. I also soldered the wires to the little lugs provided to make sure the connections stay solid. There is room for a ground connection wire to pass through. You just have to measure and cut/splice carefully to get it all to fit.A positive for this switch is that it is double pole. If both poles are utilized, it completely disconnects from the power mains. This is good for safety in case there is a mis-wire of the mains, there is no power to your device.In summary, these are not industrial grade but reasonable quality for the price.

Very good quality, be careful on the wiring, you will need a small screwdriver to remove and correctly fasten the terminals on the wiring.
