Great Kava quality, numbs as it says. Taste pretty good too for a strong kava product. It's not for everyone but if you like the numb and put aside flavor for feels than this product is right for you. Priced pretty fairy as well and based in Hawaii. Ginger wasn't my favorite for taste but the orange are pretty darn decent.

This has helped me when I get overwhelmed. A very mild effect but enough to get my mind off things. The flavor is nice.

First time kava user! If your looking to have a stimulation affect that is noticeable your looking in wrong place... I compare these to melatonin without making you feel drowsy.Taste: yes it has an off putting taste not too bad or intolerable. But again this is a holistic and natural way to chill your self out so people need to stop complaining about it, or stop being so snobby about it. its not that bad.Effectiveness: It does make you mouth and throat go numb. if they wanted to they could market it as a cough or throat suppressant cause it would work amazingly for a sore throat. Ok, now for the stimulation affect was almost unnoticeable but when I say that its because it didn't just hit me out of no where or make you feel zonked out. It most definitely mellowed me out and relax without affecting mental or physical abilities. My favorite thing overall about these is I can take one before bed or whenever and not make me feel drowsy but if I wanted to sleep or option to sleep I can knock out and have some good quality sleep.

Alright, so first of all, these things do not taste that great. Kava never does, so I wasn't shocked by this, but I had hoped the orange would mask the earthiness of Kava a little and it really didn't. BUT! This is okay. If you drink Kava, you know you do it for the effect, not the taste. It was the same with these candies. They are not as strong as I thought they'd be either. They definitely numb the mouth, but I didn't get the suuuuuper chill, loving, happy vibes I get after sharing a tanoa. Maybe if took several at a time, they would do it. But again, that's okay — I'm not deducting stars for their milder effect. They still performed exceptionally well.I took them to a family reunion campout because I was PMS'ing very hard (I get very ragey) and my family stresses me out even during the great part of my cycle, so I thought I might need a little assistance to stay sane. These candies did the trick just fine for that. I'd take them proactively, before I left my tent, and would just kind of suck on them as needed throughout the day. I skated through that reunion without anything getting to me. It was like annoying or frustrating moments just slid right off. I felt unbothered. I felt tolerant of everyone's shenanigans. I never once felt angry. My family even gave me an award at the end for being the happiest camper out of everyone, which I thought was pretty funny.Anyway, if you're looking for a full kava chillax session, these candies probably won't get you all the way there, but they can absolutely take the edge off of stressful situations and help you ease through the day when you need an extra boost.

There are a lot of reviews on here complaining that it made their mouths numb. No offense but those people are extremely uninformed. First of all, kava is known to have that effect. It's one of the first things you learn about when you do your research. Second, it literally says on the box that it will numb your mouth lol.Now on to the review. So, if you're a kava purist, this product may not be for you. It's not as strong as traditional kava, but I will say though, it is waaaay more convenient than traditional kava. The whole brewing process of traditional kava is kind of a hassle and the taste can be pretty bitter. If you want to avoid all of that but still want the effects of kava this product is perfect. I tried the ginger mint flavor, and you can taste a little bit of the kava bitterness but it's very mint forward. Personally, I don't even taste the ginger. The mouth numbing effects only last for a few minutes. I'd say 10-15 minutes tops. I actually kinda like the numbing effect lol. I treat this product like a medicine similar to a cough drop. You don't really use cough drops as a candy. You use it for the relief it provides. With that in mind, the flavor is pretty good.In terms of how it made me feel, it has a very tangible calming effect. I use it as an alternative to alcohol and marijuana. Those substances are too intoxicating and have hangovers. With this, you're still sober but it really takes the edge off and makes being sober after a stressful day more tolerable.All in all, I was very impressed with this product. I went in a little skeptical because I've tried other kava extract products and none of them were as effective as this one. I will absolutely continue to buy this product.
