Appears to have done the job. We now have an apple tree with loads of apples.
It must work we having the guttering renewed and the young guys asked if I could turn it off as the sound was driving them "nuts" I could not hear a thing.

how good is it
first a part is missing the spike that you push into the soil second pigeons ignore it sqirrels yes it scares them third it was opened when it was deliverd

My only concern
My only concern after using this for 11 months is the battery compartmentOn opening to change batteries the inside contacts were rusty & 1 completely had come awayYes I do place the rubber seal back & tighten screws to max.My opinion is to look into making the battery compartment completely waterproof & use stronger contacts.Otherwise good idea.

It works
I have it on the lowest sensitivity level and it works well. No cats have curled one off sinceThe kids hate it, but being old it doesn’t bother me. Winner
