I just received it today and am already very impressed with the product. I tried some plain right out of the container, and I loved it! I can't wait to try it on all kinds of recipes. Salads, casseroles, topping on a burger, jazz up an omelet or frittata maybe. I also appreciated that it was not greasy in any way, just nice and crispy! A perfect item for the pantry shelf.

This is so good, it's addictive. Love it as a salad topper instead of bacon.

I am a repeat buyer of these. They are ridiculously tasty and versatile. I love to sprinkle them on steak or in steamed vegetables. Omeletes. Anywhere you might use a fried or fresh onion they add the nicest pop of flavor. They kept in my pantry long after the expiration date until I used them up and were fine. I love these.

I bought these several months ago, and I've successfully used them in a variety of dishes, as well as toppings for Pho, grilled salmon, etc. Although I agree that they would taste better with a small amount of salt, the lack of salt helps me achieve a low sodium diet. One word about shelf life - these dried shallots last a lot longer than 4 weeks on a shelf after opening. I used mine for about four months with good results. After that, the small amount that was left didn't smell so good, so I tossed it.

These are absolutely wonderful. What I like especially about them other than the taste, is that they're not breaded, the shallots are simply fried. They are a little pricey, but not really when you consider how much product they probably had to fry to get this yield. Absolutely recommend!

They're fine, not great. No salt, so not that flavorful. The fried onions you get for Thansksgiving casseroles are actually better.
