**Q: Will this still work even if it’s a week or 2 after refill.  Finally got ph and alk balanced, using brom tabs but not registering on strips yet.**
A: Yes it should help increase the amount of free bromine.  Mine usually still takes a day or two using this and the tabs though.

**Q: Can you use this as a shock?**
A: No it can not be used as a shock. You need sodium bromine to establish a level and then use this twice a week or so.

**Q: How to remove cracked bug bra from,hood of car**
A: The question you are asking is completely unrelated to the product you are inquiring about. Sodium bromide is a hot tub product and cannot be used to assist with removing the "cracked bug bra from the hood of your car".

**Q: Does this replace tru-blue for initial fill for a genesis salt water spa? 2lbs per 100gal?**
A: Bromine or Chlorine are regular additions to your tub. Note one or the other never together as the are incompatible with each other (dangerous) to keep tub clear and free of biological. You will need a Shock periodically and a “Bright and clear” to keep dirt and partials out of the system. talk to a hot tub store about timing and products.  p/h is also something you need to monitor to keep your tub bright. rinse and clean you filters often

This product is very straightforward. It turns the fresh water in my hot tub to salt water which then gets processed through the ozone system to keep it fresh and sanitized. What I love most is the low price offered by Hot Tub Things which is easily 50% less than what I have to pay for this product at local hot tub /pool supply stores.
