Fixed our old microwave!
We have an old HotPoint they don't make anymore in this physical size and this microwave fits into the custom cabinets perfectly. It had stopped working completely, no power, nothing. We took the case off, inside were repair instructions including how to replace the fuse. After carefully making sure the capacitor was discharged, we ordered these and replaced the fuse. Success! It works again and perfectly. We stuck a couple of these fuses in with the wiring/repair paper for next time since we don't know how long this repair will last. Kept a couple out in case something else might need one.We are also minorly annoyed that the nice microwave we replaced with this HotPoint 15 years ago probably had the same problem. But we didn't know back then to check. Live and learn.

Easily replaced and saved a lot of money.
It's a slo-blo fuse that was blown, took about 25 minutes to get to it, but still much better than throwing the microwave away.

Saving money
I’m not a trashy man, but I expect that my stuff should work as long as possible. If it is total burned, it means that it’s good time to buy new one. But if it’s good microwave oven, and burned only fuse. Why should I throw it?!! The brand new one costs 40$, and fuse costs me less than 1 $. It’s a great idea to fix small problems by myself. I like it. And I’m proud that give my oven the second life.

GE microwave fuse
I blew the fuse on my microwave. After researching a replacement fuse, I found out this was what I needed. Watched a demo on YouTube on how to replace a fuse, I was able to install this myself. Ended up saving money by not calling an electrician.

I needed one and it solved my problem. One fuse was defective.
Poor quality control, one of the fuses was missing a chunk of the porcelain tube and it was not in the package. Poor QC. But one of the six is all I needed to fix my microwave, so can't complain too much ...
