Review: The lap desk I always wanted - I took a chance on this lap desk and I’m so glad I did. It is nearly perfect for my use on the living room sofa. Pros * The height, at its shortest, is perfect for typing while I am on the sofa. No more awkwardly balancing my laptop or my iPad in my lap to type! * It’s very simple to adjust. I don’t anticipate needing to extend the legs, but it’s really easy to do. Likewise, I probably won’t need to use the tilting top, but it’s also very simple to set up. * It’s very sturdy and stable. Rock solid on a table top. * The piece that keeps a laptop from sliding off when you have the desktop tilted is removable. In fact, it comes detached and tucked into the drawer. That’s great because it would otherwise be in the way. * It is beautiful and the craftsmanship is top notch. Cons * The drawer is super tight in the slides. It’s very hard to open. Once it’s open, it’s hard to close. For me, that’s not a big enough deal to warrant removing a star. This is a great piece of furniture. The creator obviously put a lot of thought into its design. It’s attractive and functional and I look forward to using it for many years to come.

A: Laptop's exhaust out of the back, side, or top, just under the screen. They breath from the bottom casing, meaning they pull air in from the bottom, so this laptop desk feeds it more air.

**Q: Would this fit over your lap while sitting cross-legged?**
A: It doesn't for me even with the legs extended. Depends on the length of your legs.

**Q: what is the distance between the legs (bottom) when they are fully extended width-wise ?**
A: For the smaller table, which we own, the distance between the fully extended legs width-wise at the bottom measuring from the contact points of the legs with a flat surface is 24".

**Q: Do the legs fold in so you can use it on a table like a tray?**
A: Yes this is good table for laptop also has a fan underneath.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't second guess

I spent days surfing the web for the most efficient, sturdy, and cost effective foldable desk. I didn't know what to choose from as there are tons of options within my price range and mixed reviews. I was hesitant on this purchase because of some of the negative feedback. Every dollar counts these days. First of all...it's sturdy as heck. Very thick wood and kind of heavy. Not flimsy at all and so far no splinters, which I was worried about. Secondly, it's so well made that anyone can assemble it the moment it is unboxed. There is plenty of leg room and the little drawer is perfect for pens. The drawer requires a little bit of wiggle when opening and closing the drawer but its not anything to complain about. What I love most is the peg that holds up my laptop and large texts. I was concerned about it not being thick enough to support larger books but it works like a charm. The last thing I'm loving is the capability to read and write and the same time. I can have my books supported in an upright position at an angle while I write notes on the flat board next to it. This saves me from having to visit the library for table room. I'm highly recommending this product for anyone that wants to study or write from the comfort of their own bed or couch.
